CAMPER-IN-TRAINING (C.I.T.)

Camper In Training (CIT) Camp is a focused job preparation program placing young men and women into carefully structured leadership roles which challenge them to manage responsibilities, utilize resources, and work with a team to accomplish goals. As campers succeed and fail in a variety of areas, they receive ongoing coaching and feedback to help them understand their personal Leadership Styles, improve their leadership habits, and build transferable skills as they prepare for future success. At the close of each session, qualifying campers are offered a certificate of completion and invited to proceed in the process of joining the Pine Valley Camp Crew Staff for the following summer.

 

Qualifying for the CIT Program: This program is by invitation only. To qualify, campers MUST attend Crossroads Teen Camp during the same summer AND be selected by their counselors and Teen Camp Leadership to receive an invitation to this year's CIT program. Invitations to CIT Camp will be awarded to qualifying campers at the close of each Crossroads Teen Camp session.

 

CIT Dates for 2023:

CIT 1: July 9-14

CIT 2: August 6-11

*Congratulations! All CIT campers earn the above performance based scholarship by their selection into the CIT program.

 

**NOTE: the nonrefundable Registration Fee may ONLY be paid by the camper and the camper's family. Any monies received from other individuals, agencies, or organizations will be used to fund the Scholarship for that camper.
