Matt & Susan Reichart
Executive Director
Mr. Matt and his wife Miss Susan began this ministry at Pine Valley 29 years ago with a desire to create a loving family atmosphere, in a place set apart, where kids could encounter the life-changing gospel message. Matt and Susan have been married 43 years, have 5 adult married children, and 31 grandchildren to date.
Mr. Matt is incredibly passionate about the gospel, relationships, and play! He often says kids spell love P.L.A.Y. He loves adventure, so if you stop by camp, you can still find him making time to throw campers in the pool or give jeep rides.
Miss Susan is compassionate and is known as the "camp mom". Because of her desire to create an atmosphere of warmth and kindness, she has a ministry of availability. You will often find her poolside or fireside or about anywhere that someone is in need of a chat.
Psalm 37:4 "Delight yourself in the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the Lord; trust in him and he will do this."
Keturah Blystone

Keturah Blystone first joined out team in the summer of 2015 as a counselor. She worked as a counselor for two summers and then as the Teen Girl Head Counselor for five summers. Keturah has been working full time for four years and is now the Teen Camp Director and Women’s Ministry Coordinator. She has a passion to serve Jesus and our teens. She loves taking the campers on outdoor adventures pointing them to God’s creation. She also has a passion to invest in the next generation of young people.
Mark Parker
Construction & Maintenance Director
Mark worked at Pine Valley in high school for two summers, then worked in the construction world for seven years only to be called back by the Lord to Pine Valley to work full time in 2015. He got married at 20 to his wife Kelly and has four children, Max, Zeke, Esther and Meridith. Mark leads all of the construction projects at camp and the maintenance crew during the summer season. Mark loves that camp is fun and different. It provides a deeper experience with the kids and staff as they live in community for six days straight each week. He enjoys just about anything outdoors: hunting, biking, ice fishing, and skiing.
Amanda Richardson

Amanda became the Office Manager in January 2021. She served at Pine Valley from 2002-2012 working in multiple roles throughout her time here. Amanda graduated from Geneva College with a B.S. in Elementary Education and a minor in Youth Ministry. After graduating from college, she taught for 10 years before returning to her roots at Pine Valley.
Matto Reichart

Matt (known as "Matto" by all his friends) and his wife Jen. Matto and Jen have eight children named Jada, Emery, Silas, Matthias, Naomi, Selah, Kayden and Arabella. Matto and Jen love Jesus, their kids, adventure, and a good cup of coffee. Matto grew up in camping and has been at Pine Valley full time since 2004. Camp is a place where Matto and his family can invite others into fun and adventure while introducing them to the good news of Jesus.
1 John 3:18 "Dear children, let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth."
Connie Miller
Rebuild Campaign Administrator
Connie Miller has worked part time at Pine Valley since 2012. Her path here was truly God’s doing as an answer to prayer. She is married for 30 years to her husband, BJ. She was a stay-at-home mom for 15 years to her three children (Abby, Matt, and Aaron) when she started to pray about what to do next outside of the home. She wanted to be somewhere doing something that mattered. The Lord fulfilled that desire by leading her to Pine Valley. Some of her responsibilities include being the administrator of the Rebuild Campaign, marketing and communications, and assistant to Mr. Matt. Connie loves the atmosphere fostered here at camp – it’s fun, servant-minded, family-oriented, and full of grace and love. When not at camp, she enjoys doing any kind of outdoor activity but her favorites are road biking, rock climbing, flat water paddling and hiking.
Erin Marlowe
Camp Nurse and Alumni Coordinator
Erin has worked at Pine Valley since 2016 as the nurse but has been involved over the years since 2003. Erin currently runs the camp store and is also working to organize all of the Pine Valley alumni. (If you have worked here, she'd love to hear from you!) Erin is married to Matt, and she has 3 grown children, Joel, Hannah and Isaac, all of whom have been involved with Pine Valley. When not working here, Erin can be found spending time with family, watching her son play football and planning her next beach vacation. Erin has loved being able to see so many of the campers and counselors grow up over the years and truly enjoys being able to get to know them and serve in any capacity needed from connecting old friends on the alumni project to putting band-aid on a camper's finger.
Beth Beiter
Graphic Design
Beth has been involved with the designing of brochures and newsletters for Pine Valley since 2010 and is now on staff working to make all printed material beautiful! When not working at Pine Valley, you can find her walking her dog, biking on every bike trail she can find or happily watercolor painting at home. Beth also has her own business, beiterdesign.com, doing print design and custom watercolor paintings. Beth has recently done the paintings of the Gazebo and Lodge you see on our website. Beth and her husband Joe have been married for 36 years. All three of their grown children (Addison, Connor and Josephine) have been part of the Pine Valley summer staff over the past several years.
Christine McQuiston
Bookkeeper
Chris has served as our Bookkeeper since March of 2015. When the Lord brought her down the lane, she said she felt like she found a home. Not only has she been a delightful addition to our staff, but she keeps all of our finances in order. As a laid-back lover of Jesus, her optimism has been an encouragement to us all. She recently discovered a love for Peach Rings and is passionate about the community and mission of Pine Valley. You will often find her reading or in conversation with someone.
John DeFllippo
Grants Administrator
John has been serving as the Grants Administrator at Pine Valley since April of 2017. He has an extensive background in human resources and assisted in one of his previous employer's foundation work. John loves to do research and write which are important in the grant process. He had been looking for an opportunity to serve in a meaningful position and Pine Valley has provided that. In his spare time, he enjoys reading, listening to sermons and Christian music, holistic health issues and the four major sports. Jackie and John were married in 2022 and are happy to be part of the Pine Valley family.
